What is the difference between open-loop and closed-loop control?

Open-loop vector control estimates motor operation without encoder feedback. Closed-loop vector control uses a compatible encoder and PG interface for higher low-speed and zero-speed performance.

Is UPS rescue operation included?

UPS or battery rescue functions are series- and project-dependent. The emergency power rating, wiring, travel logic, contactors and local safety requirements must be engineered as a complete system.
