The SY200PV solar pump inverter converts single-phase 220V AC or suitable high-voltage photovoltaic DC into three-phase 380V output for asynchronous water pumps. 220V to 380V Boost Output

The verified -4 platform accepts single-phase 200-240V AC and supplies three-phase 380V to a compatible asynchronous pump motor. This is useful where only single-phase utility power is available but the installed water pump requires three-phase power.

Advanced MPPT Control

MPPT software is stated at up to 99% efficiency. The controller adjusts pump frequency to the available solar power so a correctly designed PV array can deliver useful water across changing irradiance conditions.

Solar and AC Hybrid Input

The published wiring supports PV DC and single-phase AC input. Source switching and the required protection diode must follow the approved wiring diagram; the two source switches must not be operated together where the diagram prohibits it.

Pump Protection and Sensors

Dry-run, overvoltage, undervoltage, overload, surge, temperature and phase-loss protection are listed. Water-level and radiation sensor inputs support automatic pumping logic when correctly commissioned.

Send the complete pump and PV data rather than selecting from the headline kW alone. Motor current, PV voltage at temperature, cable voltage drop, pump duty and source-switching arrangement determine the final inverter, protective devices and commissioning parameters.

Installation and Derating Notes

The IP20 enclosure is intended for installation inside a clean, dry and ventilated electrical area or suitable protective cabinet. The sheet states operation from -10°C to +50°C and requires 1% derating for every 1°C above 40°C. The installation altitude is stated as below 1000m; confirm additional derating for higher sites.

Qualified personnel must verify grounding, AC and DC isolation, polarity, pump wiring and lightning protection before energizing. Keep the cold-weather PV open-circuit voltage below the 800V DC maximum. Follow the published source-switching and protection-diode diagram: incorrect simultaneous switching can damage the photovoltaic array.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can SY200PV convert 220V single-phase power to a 380V three-phase pump?

Yes. The verified -4 model branch accepts single-phase 200-240V AC and provides three-phase 380V output. The pump must be an appropriate three-phase asynchronous motor within the selected model current.

What photovoltaic voltage should be used?

The recommended DC input range is 300-750V, the stated start voltage is 300V and the recommended MPP voltage is 550V. The array must remain below 800V open circuit under the coldest expected condition.

Can solar and grid power both be connected?

The product sheet shows PV and grid inputs for hybrid operation. Source switches and the protection diode must follow the approved diagram. Do not improvise parallel source connections or operate prohibited switches simultaneously.

Does it include dry-run and tank-level control?

Dry-run protection is listed, and the wiring diagram provides high- and low-water-level switch inputs. Confirm the sensor type, logic and commissioning settings for the actual well and storage tank.

Is remote monitoring included as standard?

The series supports 4G, Wi-Fi or GPRS modules for mobile-phone and browser monitoring. The module, antenna, network compatibility and platform access are project-dependent and must be confirmed before ordering.
