Qibin Extends QB100-PV Solar Pump Inverter Range to 710kW

Zhejiang Qibin Technology Co., Ltd. today announced the completion of the high-power end of its flagship QB100-PV solar pump inverter series, extending the range from 45kW up to 710kW. The full series now spans 0.75kW to 710kW, making it one of the widest single-platform solar pumping ranges available from any manufacturer.

Built for Megawatt-Scale Water Projects

The new high-power models — 250kW, 280kW, 355kW, 400kW, 500kW, 630kW and 710kW — are engineered for applications where multiple smaller inverters would previously have been paralleled: municipal water supply stations, large farm cooperatives, desert reclamation and agricultural water transfer projects. A single 710kW QB100-PV can drive a deep-well or surface pump moving thousands of cubic metres of water per day, entirely from a DC solar array.

"Customers kept asking us the same question," said the QB100-PV product manager at Qibin. "'Your 110kW unit has run our farm for three seasons without a fault — when can we get the same reliability at 500 horsepower?' Today the answer is: now."

One Platform, Farm to City

The extended series retains the core architecture that has made QB100-PV a proven choice across the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa:

• Battery-free operation — direct DC-to-3-phase-AC conversion, 99% MPPT efficiency;
• AC/DC hybrid input — automatic solar/grid/generator blending for 24/7 water availability;
• Wide DC input window 250V-900V (recommended MPPT range 500-700V) for flexible array design;
• Sensor-free dry-run protection, over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature and phase-loss protection as standard;
• Full automation — sunrise auto-start, sunset sleep, fault auto-restart;
• Optional GPRS/Wi-Fi remote monitoring with mobile app access.

Because the entire range shares one control platform, parameter structure and accessory ecosystem, distributors can support a 2-hectare farm and a municipal water utility with the same spare parts, training and documentation.

Availability

The 45kW-280kW models are in volume production at Qibin's 35,000+ m² Haiyan manufacturing facility and available for immediate order, with the 355kW-710kW models shipping from Q4 2026. All units carry a 24-month warranty and ongoing technical support. OEM/ODM customization — including enclosure, branding, parameter presets and communication modules — is available for project and distribution partners.
